So I’m about to start my interview process for Capital One next week for a Senior Financial Analyst position. My recruiter going give me a prep call on Friday but I wanted any advice that recruiters don’t tell you during the interview process. Also I wanted to ask if Capital One a decent place to work at. I will be working at the one in McLean Virginia if that helps.
I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

How shall I switch to product based companies considering DSA is their 1st round itself.what level of DSA can I expect from companies for data engineer position?

Aren’t the defense companies notorious for underpaying?
Good to know I’m about to get lowballed lol
Lockheed’s benefits are nuts though congrats
This is true. At least when I worked there, 10% match for 401k, every other Friday off, flexible work hours, never had to work over 40 hours/wk

What level is the position?
Worked at Lockheed previously, honestly your looking at under 100k, potentially well under
:(
Where is your MBA from? Are you an SC or M?
Top school in the South? Big difference between Fuqua / UNC and the rest of the South.
With that said, what level are you coming in at? There are ranges at the staff level.
In general I've known two Ms who left for A&D companies in the last few years, neither took a cut in TC. Bonus goes down, base up. and they get stock awards.
Yes defense contractors will under pay. Had an offer at Northrop prior to joining Deloitte
Depends on the level. Know two Ms who left for A&D with higher bases and TC
