WFH helped me hide so much about my social anxiety! I love consulting because I feel it works so well with my ADHD (I don't check the time at all). I am rocking my role like crazy and I enjoy every second of it. But social anxiety is killing me AF.

I don't want to use meds, but at the same time, social interactions can easily make me depressed! I am always scared to fail.

Just accepted an offer as a project delivery specialist. To be completely honest, mainly just took the role for the almost 33% pay increase and how much I enjoyed the team during the interview process. Curious about others’ experience (the good, the bad, the ugly 😅)? The project I’m on is slated to last 3-4 years and I’m not necessarily trying to “find a home” at Deloitte or the big four, in general.

Anyone regret going into data and analytics? Sometimes I feel like I'm too dumb for it. I don't have a statistics background to really take things to the next level, and my colleagues don't have the hours to help me. My technical skills are OK, but nothing to shout at, especially when I don't really have the interest to learn. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and steer my career to a boring client-side position instead.

Am I missing something, or does FP&A not actually pay well? I’m an S2 in FDD making 115 base, but can’t find a senior financial analyst role for more than 105. Should I be applying for FP&A manager roles only?

Hey guys! I been working as a receptionist in healthcare for about 8 years now. From physical therapy, to orthopedic, to vascular.. and I’m just over It. Hello all - anyone in consulting see a drop off in salary by taking an LMM role in a smaller city? Currently seeing potential roles at 160/170k all-in for associate. Hi all, what’s a typical promote share for employee pools and individuals? Here are some stats to share on my end: $2-3b AUM sponsor, no commingled fund separate deals, 10-20% employee pool in any one deal, mostly real estate so long term investments 5-10years, I am personally getting on average 2.5% of the total pool.

When do you share with other HHs where you are headed? When you get the offer (and know you want to take it)? When you start? Wondering if there are any downsides to sharing prior to starting
