TS&A resides in Management Consulting, I believe. If you only have implementation background, it might be easier to get a role in Management Consulting instead of Strategy. Accenture Strategy requires you to have prior strategy work experience if you are coming in as an experienced hire.
Having implementation background might be beneficial since you would understand the feasibility of the proposed approach and plans. When you say strategy, ACN people will assume you are interested in ACN Strategy. TS&A does some strategy work, but they are under Management Consulting with a tech focus. We don’t call management consulting work strategy work at ACN because it confuses internal folks. Management Consulting is aligned to Strategy&Consulting, but not pure strategy. When you apply for any open roles, just be clear that you are interested in Management Consulting work with a tech focus.
Happy to help with referral if you need one for Accenture!
