L1 expecting an L2 offer any day, next summer start. HCOL area and trying to figure out what is reasonable for income. Non-traditional student and new to public though I have work experience at the para and professional level. Previous salary before returning to school was 60k base overtime eligible as an internal accountant. My reviews are all exemplary and my prior experience has been directly noted as a benefit.

Considering lateraling into a sales role at a big tech company so comp and everything is the same, but can’t decide if it’s worth it bc I will technically be losing 4k bc I will be leaving within 18 months of taking a course through Booz. I am at an AM100 firm, 3rd yr, I have only received positive reviews (&solicit feedback on work product) I’m on track to bill 2300, and have 94% realization. we are not lock step. Everyone in my group, and the office get way bigger raises than me. They’re more experienced but are doing comparable work & midyear market raises were tied to billable value. Feeling hurt and unappreciated. Not sure how to approach/handle when comp is sent in a letter. I can’t keep killing myself for less $$

I love where I work and what I do. I’m getting oh we value you so much and talk so highly of you. But at the same time my salary is half of what it should be… I just got an offer for double what I make and more flexibility…. There’s just a misconnect on those two.

Last bank program they laid all the advisors off and sold the business along with our books to another firm.
