Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?

I believe that I am being blocked from my transfer even though my manager approves it on paper. Is there any way I can find this out. Deloitte Switzerland went bankrupt a few years ago. UK partners bought out the company in order to rescue….of course they establish their own people as they are now the owners. Now we have British partners running the Swiss office. No issues there. But there is an exodus of people leaving to rival firms. Either too much English or they don’t like the new work culture….:( not sure what is not to like about Deloitte though
