2 years is a decent time before leaving. Can start looking now, it might take 4-6 months to secure something ideal
Yeah I agree. I think at the 2 year mark you're more than allowed to start looking for something else, and nobody will bat an eye at the timeline.
When you know there is no room for growth and you are stuck where you are, that's a great signal that it's time to start looking elsewhere. Think about what you like or do not like from your job, and look for those things you want. Also, knowing what you don't want will save you a lot of stress.

I echo everyones thoughts.
Save up build an emergency fund.
Don’t quit until you secure a job in writing. Do just enough to satisfy your job requirements and sanity.
Economy is so bad right now with layoffs, AI, and thousands of applications for jobs.
Dont quit without money saved up. And when you think you have enough save more.
Overtime, backup your projects too. And if your company uses shared adobe libraries, you can export them out too.
I would encourage you to start looking now. The job market isn't great and it'll probably take a little while anyway. The job search can help you get an idea of where you want to go next.
Slightly different advice. Never change jobs for the money. I would change jobs if:
1. I don’t produce at least one thing per year I would put in my portfolio
2. I don’t respect the lead creative
3. There’s a real toxic environment - not one in my head to justify why I don’t get better assignments or win assignments.
4. You are not learning new skills: leadership, production, craft…
Money will come but it should be for great work and growth. Your first comment of having good work/life balance wasn’t followed by work quality. You can take a job for more money but if the quality and craft is not there you will become overpaid and expendable. Your next job will be looking at your portfolio and skill set. Reread points 1-4.
Being patient will be important as you search for a better opportunity. The advice given is solid and your assessment above underscores that you have more positives than negatives. Looking for opportunities to improve yourself should always be a priority. Doing it with intention and clarity will serve you well. Best wishes for your future success.
Don't quit a job until you have a job -- especially in this market.
I just started listening to the podcast Ghost Frame, which addresses issues like this. Good stuff.

it may take a while to find something but if you know it’s not benefiting you, start to look! seems like a dead end in all aspects

2 years is definitely a decent amount of time and is a good time to start considering external options especially if there's no upwards mobility where you currently are. The market is looking a bit rougher at the moment so I would start putting feelers out there and actively start making moves to see if anything lands. The fact that you're feeling like you're potentially plateauing and missing out on opportunities and growth is a sign to start exploring options. I usually try to evaluate how I feel about where I am every 6 months to determine whether I plan to stay for the next 6 or if I need to start making adjustments and move
Pivot to something outside creative.
What makes you say that? In my industry/specialty, there are plenty of opportunities. The challenge is then networking.
