Scope creep is real. Step back and clearly define the requirements....outline tasks, level of effort, and what you and the team can achieve in X time. Verify with PM and client if this is what they want and keep a documented record of what you will do and cc accordingly. If you're missing the mark, ask questions, get new requirements, and confirm again. Unrealistic demands need rational reasons if the expectation is to go out of scope and need to be agreed beforehand through a working agreement. Lots of good googling on the topic out there. Best of luck.
I’ve been there, and it’s terrible. Was at a startup and the CEO wanted to review our work every day with the other product manager. As you know, it may be well intentioned, but it’s toxic.
If you’re not already, get into a sprint cadence, where you know the stories you’ve committed to every two weeks. Then set up a recurring weekly design review, where you will show your work. Set the standard in your meeting invite. Then get a pair of big headphones (if you’re in the office).
