What Huge said. Ask for a little more. Now's the time. If they say no, you're still happy.
I guess depends very much on how much they crave what you're bringing. If you get a sense they are really into you, and you know you can smash this Job outta the park then maybe see if you can squeeze anything else. Better to ask now cos once you're in you don't know how often you'll get the opportunity for bonuses, raises etc.
On the other hand if you think you just chanced it and luck was on your side then thank your lucky stars and snap that job up quick.
And well done! 😀
Always negotiate!!! The worst they can say is no and no one rescinds an offer if you try to negotiate.
Give them a higher number and say “it would make it an easy decision for me” - negotiation is about them winning by helping you
Ask for less, that will show them who's boss.
Wait.
From an agency I really like in our new city. Package overall is great, fair compensation, benefits PTO etc.... I might be a little old school here, but I was always taught to negotiate. If everything seems fair or above fair in terms of financial & benefits, do I still push for more? Torn 😳
