After pricing themselves out earlier, Apple is making another go at AR/VR with the cheaper Apple Vision Air. Do you think brands and consumers will support? And what are your thoughts about the marketing potential of spatial computing? https://www.cnet.com/tech/mobile/apple-is-planning-new-vision-pro-models-and-rival-to-meta-ray-ban-glasses-report-says/

Even at the outrageous price tag, there was still a surprising number of people who bought their first version. If they're able to bring that cost down significantly, I could see these taking off. I'm much more optimistic about Apple's products than the Meta/Rayban partnership given all of Meta's privacy issues over the years. Apple isn't perfect, but I think most people trust them more than Meta.
I wanted one but vendor support ended pretty quickly so I couldn’t do it. I have a Quest 2 and upgraded to three. I’ve been learning design as well as gaming.
I think within a niche that could take off. Apple's brand obviously carries a lot of weight. But, as always, the question is how mainstream these sorts of things will ever be. And if they don't break out to a very wide audience, will it be worthwhile for brands to get behind it? Good question.
