After several years focused on raising my kids, I'm ready to jump back into the workforce. I'm excited about the possibility of a government career, but my resume feels a bit outdated and I'm worried about my skills being rusty.

Any tips for updating my resume to highlight transferable skills and downplay the gap? Are there any specific training programs or certifications I should consider to boost my qualifications? I'm particularly interested in administrative or support roles, but open to exploring other options.

During interviews, be upfront about your career gap and express your enthusiasm for returning to work and contributing to the public sector.

Even if your previous work experience isn't directly related to government, highlight skills like communication, organization, problem-solving, and time management. These are valuable in any administrative or support role.

Try to reflect your previous job experience in your current job you are applying, mentioned your skills on your top of your resum, don't forget to add any skills you have it even if in biggener level, Confidentiality, Team player and handling multiple task is essential to add. Good luck

Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

Recruiters in the USA

Good morning!

Still trying to figure out this whole Fishbowl thing, so here goes my first post.

I would love to get into provider credentialing, but all employers I've looked at want at least 3 years of experience. So, I'm looking at Provider Network Coordinator roles, because I'm finding some of those roles don't need AS MUCH experience. I'm a RHIT, and have been working in healthcare for nearly 10 years.

Any input on employers is appreciated!

Does anyone have advice about interviewing somewhere with bad Yelp/google reviews? Is it OK to ask about it in an interview? Does any law office, for the most part, have “good” reviews, especially family law? The reviews I read on lots of law office pages are usually people who are accusing the firm of over-billing, not doing enough work or losing/obtaining an unfavorable outcome. How much attention should one pay to this when looking for a new firm at which to work?
