They’re a non-factor, at least for now. I don’t see how a law firm can competently practice sophisticated law while being truly “AI-native.” The current state of the tech still requires a tremendous amount of human judgment, supervision, and experience. Unless your “law firm” is basically doing low-end paralegal work dressed up as legal services, I don’t think the model works.

Yes? Unless every deal you do is exactly the same with exactly the same set of facts and with no need for specialists.
LinkedIn marketing slop. The article that went “viral” a few months ago with this title was clearly an AI generated description of how AI might work on an M&A transaction and not something anyone with actual M&A experience would ever write.
Eh, all hype and slop, especially ones started by younger attorneys. These firms fail to realize they don’t provide an edge in the things that matter most to clients: judgment and experience. Sure, they probably can handle smaller and less significant matters, but will never be staffed on ones that are important.
Ai will get there but it’s just another tool right now creating some efficiencies.
