I have MVP Gold with Alaska and Platinum with Delta. I also live in Seattle.
Alaska benefits: Better seats, better food, easy change of flights, better miles value
Delta: better entertainment, better lounge, easier to get upgrades for Seattle flights
Clearly I couldn't choose one over the other, so I went for mid-tier status with both. It also depends on where you are flying to. For example, 90% of flights from Seattle to Texas are Alaska

Alaska! You can do the match with Delta, but Alaska is by far my favorite domestic carrier. But also depends where you live. I'm in a hub city so it's great for me (except sometimes when I fly to a diff airport hub I can have fewer options)
