Am I allowed to enroll in both jobs’ health plans or no? Is there anything I should be aware of?

Yes but you may want to see how the deductible will be impacted. If you know you will have high expenses that year, you may want 1 plan so insurance covers majority of things when your out of pocket max is hit.

For FSA and HSA accounts, there are different rules and limits so research that before you enroll in both. In most cases, 1 health insurance is best but benefiting from different benefit offerings from your employers is great.

No reason why you cant.

What others say is true but one warning from experience: make sure you know which one is your primary. If you bill your secondary first, the insurance companies will argue over it and sometimes this bills go directly to you. If that happens you can work with your insurance company or doctor but it’s an extra pain that’s easily avoided by doing some quick research and telling your doctor who’s the primary.

The first rule of overemployment is dont talk about overemployment to anyone outside your house. :). Second: always protect the main job. Third: As the main job always has the priority, the Second and third jobs must preferably be contract gigs with not too many meetings everyday. Remember: another day, another dollar.

How difficult is it to juggle a remote role with a hybrid role?

My current role is hybrid with at least two days a week in office. However, with the potential economic downturn, I'm considering holding on to the role to supplement my income.

I'm new to the overemployed movement, so I'm evaluating the feasibility of holding onto the hybrid role and the remote position.

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. Does anyone have experience or advice?
