Don't; buy one.
Yep - you think you'll never need one again... then do.... after 3 rentals you may as well have bought one.
The only time I've ever rented a tux was when I was given a week's notice and didn't want to rush finding the right one and getting it tailored. If you have time, it's way worth spending $500+ on a tux rather than rent one for $100
Oh - and learn to tie your own bow tie....
Don't listen to D2. Buy a tux if you can
@bcg1 appreciate the response
Also - the holiday party isn't really an occasion worth wearing a tux for.
^ It is if it's black tie or black tie optional. Have have great experiences with The Black Tux
Or, if you've got a navy or charcoal suit that fits, just wear that with a tuxedo shirt and bow tie. Rentals usually fit like garbage. This will look much better.
Thanks to you all. I am leaning towards buying one now. The only option that i would love to hear more opinion is the Black Tux @BCG1 can you elaborate?
Similar to Rent the Runway for women. Pick your style, send your measurements (tailor or step by step self-measure directions). Tux comes in mail with return bag with enough time to try and re-ship new size (if necessary). Or they'll pay for local tailoring. Can't find a referral code so guess this is a free shill. https://theblacktux.com/
