You should be buying your own place, furnish it accordingly and rent it out on Airbnb during the week and use it yourself on weekends. That way, you’re actually making a bit of a profit on your own investment.
Upscale Homelessness, a consulatants blog. Document your adventures, names of key ppl changed obviously.
Try it and see how it goes. If it doesn't work you can always get another apartment.
I do this except most weekends I end up visiting friends or family. It’s not something you can do forever, but I wanna give it a year (been 5 months).
I did it for 3 years. If you don’t mind the vagabond life it’s an amazing way to save money. I rented out my house and stayed with friends, family, or at my client site on the weekends.

I know a consultant who chose to get a trailer and camp across the country with his family. They love it. And when I say “camp,” I mean he’s got a custom 5th wheel.
Buy a tiny house and park it behind your mom’s house. Drag it wherever if you meet a nice girl in a different city. Drag it back to mom’s when you break up 😜
I kept my stuff at my mom’s for the first 5 years and saved money. I was never home but would switch out my check in suitcase every month when I visited her
