Confession: I love staying home with my husband and dog, and I kinda dread the pandemic ending. I don’t want to be forced to leave my house. I never want to go to the office again. I don’t really miss socializing with colleagues and friends. I absolutely love staying home and dread the day I’m expected to go into the office even a couple of days a week. I think I’ll be very depressed leaving my husband and dog every day after seeing how nice it is to stay home with them.

Hi guys, have you ever cried in a workplace. How does it feel if no one helps you when u ask something and they don’t respond at all if u are even asking doubts to them. Everyday I m crying coz of the culture since it’s a full time work from home we will have to call people in teams for helps and doubts and every time no one respond us and they make us think that we are unfit for this job and I cry at work everyday.. does this mean r they asking me to leave the job indirectly!!!

Hi everyone. Wanted to get your thoughts on this situation. I was in an extremely toxic relationship with a narcissist for over 10 years. The trauma and abuse resulted in responsive abuse meaning I would turn into a person I was not proud of. I could “justify” some of my actions because I was in survival mode at the time. I have ADHD and executive dysfunction, resulting in horrid eating habits my whole life. My body just doesn’t tell me it is hungry and pre-pregnancy, I could go days without eating. My husband is the same way. I am panicked about staying on top of baby feedings and noticing patterns. The Pocket Nanny tracker where you press the button of the feed, diaper change, etc, seems to be popular but doesn’t log it anywhere. Has anyone heard of these and have a recommendation for one that logs as well?

How many of you ladies are planning or ended up being a stay at home mom post maternity leave? I'm really considering it because I've always desired to stay home for a few years in child's first few years of life and we can afford it, but I'm also feeling a little sheepish about my work reputation and losing a great role (since I would have to quit). I believe I am depressed and my therapist told me that I am showing signs of depression. I worked very hard to get my current job in July 2021 and currently, I am not liking what I do for work. I also had a hard break up in May 2021. From May - July 2021 I developed eating disorders and I hardly ate one meal a day. Right now, I am on the other extreme. Applied for a position in Johnson and Johnson Canada. Reached the final round 3 weeks back. After not getting any updates I emailed the HR a couple of weeks back. They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter). What are some good child care options for single parents? Have a toddler that is in preschool, but need to think about child care after school. Currently have my parents helping out with the child care, but they are not a long-term solution. Don’t know what my options are… especially when I have to travel in the future.
