Hi Folks, Looking for a BA/Consulting role in the FS (BCM) domain in UAE/APAC (HK, SG)region. Have overall experience of 7+years including 3.5yrs of BA/consulting experience. HCL Technologies offer being delayed and recruiter keeps saying that there's a problem with their "Offer release portal system." I have already stated my issues with relocating until after I have the offer signed and ready. The project is supposed to start on the 19th and I'm supposed to join before, or on that date. It's already coming up soon and I don't have the official offer so that I can confidently start the relocation process. Has anyone else recently dealt with this?

It will always depend on the team. Ask about the work life balance and expectations around work hours and the tenure of the team. If everyone has been on the team for <2 months and the HM doesn’t have a good reason for it, probably not where you want to be

Performance Review at Cap1 comes down to popularity contest - not many tangible things you can get assessed on compared to Deloitte - so it really comes down to who you know and if they like you - much more than at D

It’s a good company with great culture. Has some off the same problems you have in other places with office politics. But generally speaking it’s a good org from top to bottom
Both companies are good, but these days fortune 500 companies are laying off large flux of people. I like Capitol One and see them as a stable company. It also depends on your niche.
