Hi,
In tcs my joining date is passed still not received onboarding link.
Is it normal there because been 4 days delay still they are not giving any update.
It’s kinda hectic to call every time to recruiter and get back with the same answer like work in process.
Should I even expect the joining date?
Let me know if anyone faced that kind of situation before. Tata Consultancy even onboarding manger is not giving Reply’s to my. Mails

I don’t think you will regret spending time with your little ones when they are small. I took 1 year off with both of my children (normal in the UK) and it was great. Work will always be there
So scary at the same time I am excited to think of going to all the classes with my daughter, and spend more time with her, cook, and plan her days!! Before the second one comes!! I want to be with her and give her the best few months. I worry about how she will share the attention and love
Loved seeing this post as I am planning to do the same in a few months. I am feeling the same uncertainty you are. My therapist recommended reading The Power Pause by Neha Ruch in advance of my planned career break. I’ve only just cracked it open, but reading about the experiences of other moms in a similar position has brought me a lot of peace. There are also prompts to help you with the transition.
Wishing you a wonderful remainder of your pregnancy and career break!
If you’re in a position to do it and still be in a decent financial position, go for it!
If you like your job and think that you may want to return to it, or to something in the same industry, have an honest conversation with your manager about what you are thinking about doing and why, do your best to stay on excellent terms with people from work, check in, meet occasionally for coffee, etc. This will help to try to leave the door open for a few future opportunities there or anywhere else that your colleagues wind up. Do your best to stay sharp and keep up with industry news, maintain any certifications or licenses you have if applicable/possible.
I think you would regrett NOT spending more time with your kids…
