Helo everyone, I had an interview scheduled with Cognizant on last week of Jan 2022 but due to technical error in Verification code I couldn't join interview lobby. I reported the same to the HR and I was told the interview will be rescheduled. Now there's no update from the HR. Could you please guide me how can I proceed or any email address to which I can inform to take the rescheduling process further.
Thanks in advance

Congrats!!! Which company offered you the most TC? If you can break down the TC to base salary and RSU etc
In my fintech company the PgM has the P&L responsibility and the PM just focus on building an amazing product. So the PgM focuses on operationalizing that product. Just shows that PgM and PM roles vary from company to company and it’s best to ask the delineation to someone who works at the company itself.

Just accepted a role with Amazon happy to help others as well in this difficult time.
Hi there, I’m also a corporate finance turned consultant, post-mba. I’m most interested in your PE Ops experience. I’m potentially interested in exiting to this industry and would like to get your thoughts on two things: how did you get an interview and what are the most critical
Skills to have?
Posted what I highlighted on my resume and in the interviews on another thread. Not able to copy text so here's the link

Pay it forward for someone who lost their job. You are doing an amazing job so far and the world needs more like you.
OP congratulations! I am in a similar boat, fed up with consulting. What roles did you target.. I know you mentioned Program Manager/Ops etc. Did you look at roles/skills specific to your profile? I am trying to understand where and how to best shortlist roles for myself. With the process I follow right now, I don’t get response from the recruiters.. wondering if I am doing the right thing.
Sadly the job market is a different beast right now due to covid. All we can do is reach out to our network on LinkedIn for referrals and cast a wide net while applying. Create a genetic version of your resume for generalist type roles. List out your core skills. Use this to tailor your resumes depending on firm fit and role fit.
Eg. For program manager - always highlight xfn experience, stakeholder management and conflict resolution. Data analysis. Defining and tracking kpis.
You are good person!
I just want to say thank you for passing it forward and that you’re missed
1) How long after you were laid-off did you start getting these interviews?
2) How did you find/apply for these roles (LinkedIn, referral WTC)
3) What’s your background!
Thanks and congratulations

Poor service line performance.
Wow .. please share any tips.. background how did you manage so many interviews ? Through referrals? I am laid off and on visa and not getting any leads
Network and reach out to friend of friends. They get a referral bonus so most are happy to refer you.
OP. I would like to hear about your resume tailoring. If you could provide me with any tips, that would be great.
I am looking to exit consulting or move into tech companies for consulting. Done with selling data and analytics solutions at iqvia.

Focused on a mix of the company's mission statement, blog posts, team sub site (if any) and the job description to decide what skills to highlight and which words to use on the resume. Eg.
For Amazon Alexa PM role - highlighted Amazon leadership principles + privacy + machine learning / data analytics related experience ( however slim)
How long do you have to wait to apply at Facebook if you're rejected after onsite? Thought I did well but didn't get feedback and no offer.
Don't want to say too much, but it's a privacy-related role and I made it to the onsite.
What role levels are you applying at those Companies? Do you have any tech experience at all?

Who did you finally join? What role did you apply for?
Thanks for doing this OP. That’s an impressive results with multiple insured. What do you think attributes to your success? I’m also having a hard time getting traction or even getting interviews.

I think the urgency to get a job that sponsors before the 60 day H1B grace period helped. During my MBA job search I had peers who were really good at going through a job description + company profile + mission/values and creating a new resume based on that. I picked up on that and did the same for my job search. For all the roles I went through referrals from anyone I could find in the firm i was applying to. Since I don't have impressive brand names on my profile its almost impossible to get picked even for the recruiter call otherwise.
Congrats OP. You have done very well.

Lot of luck and timing involved but thank you! Wouldn't have been possible without numerous folks being generous with their time.
Congratulations OP! I’m going to be in the bye-bye boat soon. Looking for any guidance whatsoever. A2 on H1B here.
Congrats OP!
Thank you!
Hi! Thanks for doing this. 1) can you share years of experience 2) any advice on negotiating faang offers? I hear sometimes they can be kind of set.
Got it. Definitely curious about that non-tech rigidity.
Coach
Would you suggest reaching out to recruiters on LinkedIn? 90% of the time I get no responses but I feel like applying without some type of referral will put me at a disadvantage. Esp for FAANG
Coach
I went to a public school, non target.
Thank you for this. 💜
What role at Amazon? I am looking to exit to Engineering Manager at a FAANG, don’t know if they would hire that. Most consulting exits are PM or something. I’m a manager with software engineering experience
