What is going on with H1B? Why are they giving RFE to Consulting firms?

BAL and Fragomen associates, has their been any effort to push associate salaries up? If not, what is their excuse?

It seem like the two biggest immigration firms are severely lagging behind in compensation while other larger firms with immigration practices are pushing up comp.

Can my license be renewed without the original extension petition? Or do I need to wait for the originals to come in. Trying to understand what do I need to carry to the DMV. Based in CA. Immigration lawyers had sent me a questionnaire to fill out for Manager PERM. They now just came back saying that they need to assess me for a different position. Anyone else experience this? I wonder if this means they’ll now just file a Senior Perm instead? Asked them but they’re not very responsive.

is biometric appointment for h4 COS also adding to delays for h4 COS and EAD? or we can schedule an appointment as soon as COS is applied? someone told me it’s taking 2 years these days for h 4 ead approval 1 year for h4 cos another year wait time for biometric and few months for ead is that true?
