How good is to join @coforge as senior developer
Hello Folks,
My LWD with current organization is on 30-Sep-2022.
I have an offer with HCl and joining date is on 3-oct-2022.
I have cleared the TCS technical and managerial round and got an email to upload the documents to proceed further with HR discussion, an I have done it yesterday.
But my priority is to go with TCS, but the doubt is will TCS provide offer or joining letter before 30-Sep-2022, because only 6 days left to complete my LWD.
Any suggestions to handle this.

-So over 4 years your total cash is: $710,400
-Your 43 RSU I would set a very conservative target at $4k.
-Over 4 years thats $882,400
-Annual thats avgs out to: $220,600
- I expect that you do better than $225k per year on avg when your 4 years wrap
Coach
So it’s more money at a company that offers better exits and near-term upside. This is especially true given that WLB for a Deloitte senior manager is generally pretty miserable.
If you want to go the partner route then it’s a different calculus.

Low low low! Push for 300. Increase bonus and rsu
Do I actually need an offer in hand? I am interviewing for a very similar role at door dash that pays $270. But I don’t have an offer. Could I use that as leverage?

If it’s a L6 PM in HQ2 it’s not a super low offer. The L6 PM comp goes upto 260k in Seattle (with most offers at 220k) . HQ2 is about 15% lower
Subject Expert
HQ2 and Seattle are about the same.

Any tech skills?
No non tech
That’s like near bottom of band, def push for a lot more
Coach
It’s a wide range from MBA hires to more experienced hires so in Seattle it can go between approximately $200k in years 1 and 2, to over $300k in years 3 and 4 given RSU appreciation.
If you look back 4 years, share price was under $1k. The offers 4 years ago would be slightly lower total comp but they were issuing as many as 150 RSU to non-tech product managers and slightly more to PM-T’s (I joined about 5 years ago as an L6 PM-T and got 200 RSU’s)
If you joined 4 years ago as a non-tech PM, your comp this year would be approximately $340k.

Don't RSUs get added to total comp too
Yes, so with 5% vesting in year one it’s only $215
