So who else is at Hilton Orlando this week?
Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

Con is youâll make a good amount of less money
I worked in both AUS and Latam. For Latam language is a must but can be learned. AUS would be much less of a culture shock. AUS will be harder to 'break into' remotely - tons of people want to move there and bombard firms with CVs. I'd recommend looking through your network to see where you can get an intro. You could always move first then look though that's riskier. WHV are available in both countries, not sure for Americans though.
If you're looking for long-term, I'd definitely consider how much you think you'll feel at home in the new culture. I never felt at home in Latam as people always know you're not from there and stare a lot. Australia is easier to blend into and very similar to US in all thing culture, quality of life, etc.
This is really insightful and much appreciated @EM1
The initial sting of lower comp is real. Took me over a year to come to terms with it. Now I enjoy the improved quality of life in Europe compared to US. I feel like I have more freedom to live here.
Move to the UAE - you make a LOT more money than in the US and tax benefits are real
It depends on your flexibility on where youâll be and specific work interest. In some areas (e.g., UAE), youâll make more. Based on that, I would reach out to folks on LinkedIn at companies youâre interested in the regions you want. Your narrative for âwhy meâ should be logical and include why that region
