I work as a Solution Specialist (sales rep) at an Authorizer Verizon retailer. Phone/wireless sales is not something I want to do forever. 2020 grad M&A/PE Associate in LCOL area thinking about moving to a ECVC/M&A boutique. I generally like the work I do and the people I work with, but I really don’t like the hours and the constant late nights and weekends. Currently on pace for 2250. Boutique I have been eyeing has billable hour requirement of 1500-1600 and comes with a 20-25% paycut. Is this a stupid idea and should I grind it out until I can move in house? My question is those currently in an HR role, would this move make sense to you?

How does underwriting compare to PIP litigation in terms of flex time (ability to stop/start work throughout day, work at 2 am if needed, etc)

So i work at this company in coimbatore (india) and we have a very poor work life balance. We have a 6 day working policy and no vacation or sick leaves just 1 day casual leave a month. Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. I’m also getting to a stage where I’m really sad that people haven’t reached out to either my husband or myself to send well wishes or provide support. A few months ago I took a job selling internet service. Primarily, I work in the field, where I can make all my sales, but I have been kinda dipping a toe into reaching out to property managers via email. So, i have been trying to write a BASHO email template and I am hitting a wall. It’s hard to personalize it as a lot of the people I reach out to have no social media or are super hard to find. Basically what I have is Intro->benefit statement(one sentence)->CTA. Any advice?
