Hi fishes,
I’m a fresher and have recently completed my internship as an Operations manager at Amazon. I am currently looking for FT opportunities. I came across and opening at Maersk for the role of Business Analyst. Could anyone refer me for the role or maybe point me to a suitable opportunity?
thanks!

I did that about 12 years ago, and it’s a tough transition. Your selling experience and client relationship background will help in the long term, but you will need to learn a load of new consulting skills. I managed to join as a manager in customer consulting practice, but it helped that I had been doing more of a consulting role in the agency I was in.
If you are an Account Exec you May not have built up enough practical marketing or advertising experience to go in as manager, which means you May need to start at Associate or Senior. Sooo, maybe a pay cut, especially if you have a good bonus/commission (as I did).
Also your more likely to get in at mid tier or smaller firm than one of the big boys
Your other option is MBA of course
Anyway it’s very doable
Hey, Partner 1. That’s really good perspective. Any perspective on a senior level, EVP level person making the switch, where there might be potential, or any particular paths?
Yes - although that depends. Prophet for sure as they are becoming more of traditional consulting firm
