So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. Seeking feedback on GAP insurance. I had a family member who purchased a car in June or July. They were in an accident last week and it sounds like the car will be declared a total loss. Never dealt with this before, so wanted to ask if anyone has ever had an instance where the insurance didn't cover the outstanding balance of the loan and the insured then owed money? Car was $35k, $7k down, finance $28k. Gap insurance is through lender, not auto insurer.

I just moved here so this might be a dumb question so please don’t judge. Why does my laundry smell like pee and how can I fix it? I used a common washer and dryer in my building. Is it because of that? Is it mold? Is it the water? I air dry my workout leggings and they all smell really weird and I don’t know what to do 😔

What have you found to be the most overrated and underrated aspect of NYC? I’ll start.

Overrated:

Nightlife. This isn’t some European capital raging till 6am on weekends. It’s dead after 2am and because rent is so high your bars are extremely small, crowded and mediocre

Dating/Friendships. While this is a city you can have lots of hookups, the average quality of the person is baddd and there is little romance for serious dating. easy to end up 30 without a single meaningful relationship

Is there any group of people interested in playing poker on weekend. Obviously not with real money XD.
