Any engineers have experience working with Actalent recruiting for seeking opportunities? Do they make you jump through what feels like unnecessary hoops during the initial steps?

I honestly didnt' think they were unnecessary hoops either but then again, if you have been applying for tons of jobs it may feel like that. Agree with the comment above that they don't pay the most but in this job market its better than not having a job.

I have worked with them and have had good results. Just make sure salary is fair

Thanks, that's good news to hear, I'll give it another chance. I haven't had the best luck with them in recent years. And yes of course, salary fairness is definitely important.

I didn't think there were any unnecessary hoops that others don't make you jump through. Money wasn't the best but I guess that was coming from their client more than them

Right, that makes sense. So far, I haven't been given specifics yet since I'm still handing over information, but it seems like salaries in general for engineering has dipped a little.

I was able to get 3 years of continuous worth through Actalent so my overall impression is favorable. However the job search engine on their website is broken and close to useless.

Planning a trip to Rome and Naples with day trips to Tivoli and Pompeii. Is 1 week enough? I feel like reading through 3/4 day Rome and 2 day Naples itineraries, the trip seems rushed. I have unlimited PTO but my SO is limited in time (but luckily he can work extra hrs and then use less PTO). I would say max we could do is 1.5 weeks but adding on 3-5 more days seems almost too much? Thoughts? For reference, I did Venice-Florence-Rome in a week and it seemed okay but it also wasn’t as planned out

Hello all. I have applied for almost 600 jobs over LinkedIn since we shifted to Dubai in January 2022, I received a call back only from 1 employer, I went through the interview process with them but the result was rejection. It's been 8 months since the move but there is no luck in finding a job here in the HR domain. Can someone help me with understanding the market in the UAE related to the HR domain?

Hi everybody! 😊
I've been working as a Junior Analog Design Engineer for a year and half.
I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
Should I wait and build up a few more years of experience before accepting a Senior role or should I jump in and work to fill the gap?
Next year, there will be an important deadline for the project I'm working on and my resignation could be critical for the team, how would you deal with it?
