Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

Anyone recently received a tax manager offer from EY ? I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

No, and if you're in the US and taking to a US company, it's not legal. Huge red flag if you get asked that.
This information is not illegal to ask, however federal law expressly prohibits employers from making employment decisions based on that information - so it should t be asked because it’s irrelevant.
That’s a red flag if they ask that
Nope. What did you say? And their follow up response?
I asked if that’s relevant for the position? That’s when they started talking about all the schooling benefits - I mean as an HR professional, I would think that they’d know how to phrase a question or include context if that’s what they mean..
Chinese company by any chance?
Then never. It shouldn’t happen in the US
Nope and I wouldn’t answer it as it isn’t legal to ask.
