I applied in UST as a Java Dev, 5+ YoE. During the Managerial Round I was interviewed for a project looking for people with exp in modernization Legacy apps. The allocation will be as a Tester but I'll be working as a developer. I'm terribly confused with the Managerial round, any suggestions?

I recently asked my boss for a raise after discussing a yearly review with them. I was told because there was a company wide raise back in December, that would technically be my raise, which was $0.45/hr. I’ve stepped in to a number of roles here and feel I am not being paid adequately after taking on the extra work. I’m wondering how to go about asking for a raise of $2/hr after all this.

Looking for advice from PR & Marketing leaders, how do you convince senior leadership that PR matters even though efforts don’t always lead to direct sales? Got an offer for Sr. A.E selling SaaS. $150K base, OTE $275K and 20,000 RSU (5 years vest) but value of RSU is undisclosed since this is a startup.

After reading the discussions on this bowl for some time, there's something I want to share. There's a lot of criticism of Modi, Indian govt, Hindu Nationalism etc here. A lot of it is for good reason.

If like me you get defensive about these, tell yourself that (most) of it isnt anti-India, or hatred for India. It feels that way since our idea of India has become liked to 'Hindu'. Most are anti-Modi precisely because they love India. Just something that helps me think more rationally. Peace.
