Any fish w/ experience in getting strategy positions in medtech?.
6 yoe post Mba experience (senior manager) in mbb across medtech and industrial + engineering degree but still seem to get stuck in terms of often not getting past the first screening. they seem very keen on specific medtech vertical experience in industry eg microscopy experience in academia and r&d for a bu strategy position
Is this common and to be expected or am I doing it wrong?.

I’m struggling at the moment to gauge how much I should be getting paid in my position as i feel I’m heavily underpaid for the work I do, which includes managing digital marketing operations across 12+ countries, manage the studio/creatives plus lead on any campaigns and strategies, etc. I’m also remote UK-based although my company is international. So what do you feel a fair UK wage would be for the role? I love my job/team but the stress isn’t worth it for me atm. Thanks in advance!

I'm early in my career, managed to save $30K to invest, and want to get my hands dirty with a rental property without too much risk (e.g. no HML/flipping). It sounds like that's a tall order in the NY/CT area given the prices, not to mention whether I'd be able to get a mortgage on anything below $100K, but I figure I'll give it a shot anyway. Hi All, just sharing what on mind to vent it out from my system. Maybe with this I could gain some insights and inspiration.
I have been working as a data scientist since 2018 & have been the bread winner. I have neither been under a proper mentor nor with a team of peers from my field to help me out. I was alone and confused. I have never really got the chance to prove myself which makes me all the more depressed. I'm not sure what to do with my future, indecisive and low on confidence.

If 80% of my portfolio is in S&P 500 index funds, I'm assuming holding is a good call? I've held everything thus far. Just wanted some confirmation that I've got a good strategy.
