Best thing is to find a good quality brand (all the above you mentioned) that FITS well. Try a couple places and then that’s your go to. For me I’ve always got my best tees from Zara, eg love Uniqlo for a lot of their pieces but t shirts don’t fit as good for me.
Once you get in shape you’ll see how well everything fits all of a sudden

I’ve been enjoying the Cos medium weight t shirts recently, they have a few options the lighter ones feel a bit cheap but the medium gsm are a good option. Arket are also good quality. On the higher end side you can’t really go wrong with Sunspel but the price is fairly mental.
I really liked COS at first, but recently got an amazing deal on TM Lewin and liked them a lot. Having said that Uniqlo is pretty famous for their t-shirts and all my undershirts are from them.
On this topic, does anyone have a recommendation for t shirts under a sweater? Should be a thin t shirt with a deep collar. Cos and Zara used to make but have since been discontinued
