My final round with Deloitte for UK Tech Consulting Manager position soon. Strangely it’s not a PMD round as it usually is for other Big4/tech consulting firms.
1. Can anyone tell me if they’ve been through the whole process without speaking to PMD? (First round Sr Manager, second Case Interview by a manager and third again by a manager) 2. What is a typical salary to expect? I was asked in screening but kept it vague (e.g can discuss later bla bla). I was hoping 75-80 (ridiculous?)

Practice, practice, practice!
Also, there are some “interview frameworks” that help. It’s mostly about organizing your ideas into a specific format that’s easy to remember for you and easy for the interviewer to digest.
In reality, there’s usually 5 to 7 questions that an interviewer is likely to ask for almost any specific role / title, and you need to be confident in not just how you answer them but also how you present your successes from your past roles. The more you realize that this is all just a game, the easier it is to accept that you can “train” to win the game.
You're a generalist going up against some specialists. You can't outclass those who have done the job more in depth for longer. Either specialize or wait for the random acceptance of chance.
My background is quite varied across enablement, product, and project/program mgmt so I find it hard to position myself sometimes or give the interviewer what they want.
On that note, if anyone has any suggestions for what kind of niche roles might be good for my background, I’m all ears!
For TPM roles, practice turning each answer into a clear story: goal, stakeholders, tradeoffs, execution, measurable result, and what you learned. Big tech interviewers often probe ambiguity, influence without authority, and prioritization, so have examples ready for each. Lots of reasons. Sometimes salary, sometimes soft skills. Sometimes, culture fit. I just experienced both via feedback from recruiters. I wouldn’t beat yourself up. It’s more ppl than opportunities.

I would recommend an AI platform to help you practice. It’ll at minimum make you more confident
