Old senior associate band used to run from 85k to 147k. Take that 62k differential and divide that by 3 then allocate accordingly. Rough guesses: 85k-105k for S1, 106k-127k S2, 128k-148k S3. You would have to take these ranges and divide by the number of sublevels to get more accurate range estimates. Don't know when raises and bonuses are finalized.
.
PwC1: but I thought the whole point of the cohort is that everyone is at the same pay. As in, instead of 85-105 for S1, it would just be, say, 90k. I'm an EA right now (won't get promo this cycle so I'm thinking I'll probably be a A3. I'm at 80k now....ugh.
I think they would likely keep S1As at 100k minimum. You are right there's no range any longer, I was providing the range as an estimate.
With new A1s coming in at 75k, I would find it hard to believe SA1s are at 85k
I was told today it's a 10k bump for all the associate levels
Between A1 and A2?
A1 = 75, A2 = 85, A3 = 95, S1 = 105
So based on that A3s will be around 95? Maybe 90 for outside NYC/SF
PwC1: this just a guess?
If I spent half as much time working as I do speculating promotion salaries....
Based on second hand info--not from anyone in senior leadership at the firm. So not a guess but not much better than one.
Old manager band was 122-220
Also, last year the "homegrown" (straight from undergrad) newly promoted SAs anecdotally got between 85 and 95 based on home market
