Ok, I haven’t done an HSA previously, but considering it for my family during this next open enrollment. What do I need to know about high deductible plans? How do y’all feel about the HSA - any downsides? I’m honestly a little worried about the higher OOP costs, but we’re also not significant users/consumers of healthcare, knock on wood. Anyone regret it and go back to a normal PPO/POS insurance?

Travel and TTC combo haven’t worked. After 6 months, the only offer I got included 4 weeks paid and FLMA only after 1 year. So 1) go and risk laughable benefits or 2) stay but risk TTC. So shitty 😭

Roth vs Traditional 401k, thoughts?

I just started a new job 2 months ago, benefits and PTO don’t start until 90 days in so I still have a month before I can take off any time, and today found out my company doesn’t offer paid maternity leave.
I’m really struggling handling the symptoms and maintaining my full time job. Thinking about looking for a part time job to have more time to myself through the pregnancy since I won’t be getting a paid leave anyways, but lost on where to start looking. Any recommendations?

Alongside my bachelors degree I also have a masters degree in healthcare administration. Although, I am happy with my current position as a respiratory therapist, there seems to be not a lot career growth with where the department I currently work in within my healthcare system. Teachers are keen to share how they handle things in their classrooms, but every school does attendance, has messages that need to be relayed thru the day, all these things going on, I just always wonder how it's handled elsewhere.
