I am currently working as an consultant for kyndryl as cloud sme with 7b band on lower level 13.5 lakhs. My contract is coming to an end so I contacted my manager was offered an job at same 7b level at 17 lakhs . Should I take the offer , will I have growth in the Company? I had a VP offer for 215 base plus bonus plus equity grant and that was on the low end of the VP band, director would probably be 175-200
Where was this? And what role?
I’m glad you didn’t take the offer. 215 is like a Sr Mgr salary.
Depends on location and function… technical roles are higher and all our bands are over 100k wide at the higher levels (ie happened to just see one today that was 195-325k) and I have heard most external offers are coming in around mid point (1.0 comp ratio) but that was specific to lower level roles so not sure if it rings true for director level
It’s like 250K salary starting and then you have a bonus and stock incentive plan that varies by person
