Any other mommas only get real supply from one side while pumping? Getting 0.5 Oz from left side after half hr pumping... Any problems if I just pump and feed from right side? (Baby is 11 months old and supplementing with formula anyway, likely weaning at a year)
My husband and I are trying to have a second child and have been trying for over a year. I recently was referred to a fertility doctor and after many tests found out I don’t have much time (I’m 36). The doctors say all I can really do is live a healthy lifestyle (which I do anyways). Any tips or advice from moms that battled infertility? I’m trying to stay positive but it can be so hard sometimes.
I’m curious to hear from people at other firms what is offered in terms of part time work or alternative work options for people that don’t really care about making partner and might want to work part time. I just had my second child and want to ask to come back from maternity leave on a part time basis but our firm doesn’t seem to have anything in place right now. If your firm offers this, what’s the billable requirement, how much of a pay cut is it, and do you still get benefits? Thanks!
For Baby #2, do you feel like the first six weeks were easier than with Baby #1 simply because you better understood what you were dealing with? And that the crazy no-sleep period *does* end?
Shoe recommendations for work when pregnant?
What precautions have you taken for an infant or baby on airplanes since they can’t wear a mask?
Question for people with kids - Post-kid in early 2020, the Incremental expense (mainly Nanny but also formula, diapers etc.) have dipped our monthly savings from ~$5k to under $2k (Dual income, HCOL). While the drop is anticipated, how do people adjust their budgets and find new savings to offset these child expenses to certain degree?
Gonna get baby's heartbeat tattooed
Anyone on here have experience caring for someone (parent) with ALS or similar disease (hopefully no1 but thought I’d ask). Looking to hear experiences and/or advice.
Curious what other people's parental leave looks like for companies of a similar size and industry. We are about 150 employees in the CPG (beverage) space. We want to improve/expand our paid leave. How much paid time do you give your employees? Do you give the same amount for the primary and secondary caregiver? Please include your company size and industry.
When you're the only girl on the team and the rest of the team votes Hooters for Friday lunch and your waitress ends up being 7 months pregnant ... Lololol 😂😂 #jokesonyouguys
Starting from blood work to getting pregnant, if everything goes smooth what is a timeline we are looking at?
Need counsel: Left advertising to go client side last year. Working at a huge company isn’t for me long-term but the money is great, I have more balance and actually raised my kids this year. I have the opportunity to be a c-suite leader at a very small agency on the rise. Super confused. Money will be less, long-term opportunity will be more. Also thinking about having another kid soonish.
How much notice is required before taking parental leave at BCG? Is there something required per rule or is it more just best practice to give 60/90 days notice to give folks time to plan/schedule around it?
Can you please share the age of your kid(s) and how much you’ve accumulated in their 529s to date?
How are you going to celebrate Mother’s Day
Married People/Life Partners - what conversations did you have with your spouses before deciding to become pregnant? No offense, but this question is for people that have actually planned and have leveraged 21st century contraception to do so along with strategic financial planning. I’d really like to understand the steps you and your spouses took before deciding to have a baby.
My girlfriend is pregnant and is looking for recommendations for good cotton wear during later stages of pregnancy. Any ideas?
What is a parental leave? How is it different from maternity/paternity? How does Deloitte define parental leave?
EY specific question - Do you have to pay back parental leave if you take all of it and quit before returning to work? General question - is it in bad form to legitimately take parental leave thn quit
Sometimes I HATE ORD. Landed 15 min ago, been driving in circles ever since. No sign of gate
What are some atypical interview questions you’ve asked or been asked? The one that caught me most off guard, though an easy answer was, “What would you do if you weren’t doing advertising?”
Have you ever heard of an agency helping to pay off student loans (not tuition reimbursement) as an extra/negotiated benefit?
Got a job offer client side. Would be making 30k+ more BUT it's a long term contract role (no benefits, Paid PTO etc.). I'm not unhappy or happy where I'm at currently. What to do what to do.
The traffic at DCA is absurd!!!

For post-MBA VC associate roles that are for a set period (e.g. 3 years) and are mostly focused sourcing, what are the typical exit opps? From what I understand the VC firm has the option to extend the contract/make partnership a possibility, but from reading online it seems like this highly unlikely.
MBB 🐟 - can you describe the moment when reality did not meet your excitement/expectations you had before starting the job?
Any Infor consultants here? Interested in learning more about comp, culture, work life, etc.
Can anyone speak to culture of the EC/VC and M&A groups at WSGR? Looking at remote positions. Thanks!
This may be a wild ask but are there companies that pay you back for an MBA even though you didn’t work for them pre-MBA?
I just finished HR interview with a retail firm and the hr was asking for my current base salary. I wasn't expecting that. I told her what I'm expecting but she was insistent on knowing my current...
TFW when your SM announces to the team that your manager is leaving the project while the manager is out on PTO. -_-
Interviewed on the brand side with a very well known beauty company. They wanted to take my 5 years of experience and only pay $65k (NYC). The recruiter said I should really be flexible and be open to a salary cut if I want to move to the brand side. I know this such bullshit having done other interviews in the past.
Whats your go-to meal when cooking a quick lunch while WFH? Lately I’ve been making roasted sheet pan veggies (sweet potatoes, red onions, broccoli, asparagus and seasoning) and it’s epic. 20 minutes on medium heat and then 5 on broil. Love it!
I hate that “this needs more diversity” is code for add more black people...🤦🏾♀️ 😥when will people realize that diversity is not just black and white!
