Hi all,
Do firms match offers from other Big 4s for campus hires? I’ve received a campus offer from both KPMG and EY. I’m more interested in the EY offer, but they are paying 3k less than KPMG.
Would it be a bad move to let them know about the other offer and try negotiating? I feel it wont make a difference in the long run, but at the same time I don’t want to leave any money on the table if possible.
Thanks!

I actually have the same question. But looking at 7-10 years of experience.
I am a social worker for an insurance company and range is $65-75k in NC- but I’m in the 10-15 year range
We hire MSW as behavior consultants with some experience (Indiana) in the $50,000-55,000 range with bonus structure.
I'm making the state minimum for fully exempt salaried, certainly not enough to be comfortable.
Even without 7-10 yrs experience people still make at $70-80K range. Particularly, in the medical social work field.
What country?? UK is between £27k-£42k depending of experience
It all depends on where you live and cost of living. With a master's degree and independent license, expect to make $50-$80,000
Depends on the state and area of social work. Hospitals pay better; however, every hospital is different too.
This isn’t necessarily accurate. The hospital corporation I work for pays abysmally. And people on my team, cross discipline, are leaving in droves. Hospitals very often treat you like an invisible cog in the corporate machine as well. I have done private practice, agency work, group work, and hospital crisis work and would definitely not recommend hospital work.
I work for a PHP/IOP as an LMSW in Northern Virginia. It’s a very high cost of living area and I make $85k with 4 years experience.
Depends on the organization, I started at a nonprofit at $10.58 an hour (South Alabama). I moved to another nonprofit at $40k (starting) with a raise after training and working remote.
I live in NYC. With 2.5 years of experience I make 70k in my FT hospital job & about 20k doing PT FFS psychotherapy. I think the pay range here (even at your level of experience) is -super- variable depending on role and setting. I job hopped to get to the salary I currently have (and likely would do it again for the right opportunity).
CSW in Salt Lake City Utah- $64,500 a year.
NC rural area medical SW with a MSW and 3 years experience it’s about 60-65,000 a year.
