Need to know how much % would generally be paid out? Is it 100% or less as per the individual/organization performance.

They also want to give me a clearance but it will start as an interim so I can work sooner than may. MY DILEMMA: Kbr states that they know I need money now so I can accept an offer with Northrop to see if I like it until may.BUT can I have 2 security clearances running at the same time?

Has anyone dealt with stuffing allocation in a non-hedge fund context? It seems even in the HF world the law is fuzzy in using aggregate reverse 704c principles in stuffing allocations. Like, sure, the market is there but no authority really blessed it (other than some Cravath partner’s article in Tax Notes in 2013). Transitioning from com. lit into tax controversy?

I have a tax LLM and started my career out of law school doing M&A tax at a big4. After 9 months, I got out of big4 transactional hell and into whatever litigation I could find. I now practice commercial lit but would welcome the opportunity to eventually transition into tax controversy (which I wasn’t able to do before). Does my commercial litigation “break” hurt my prospect? How long can I stay in com lit without hurting my chances even more?

Other than general tax and estate planning, what are some practice areas can a Tax LL.M. be beneficial in? I’ve heard it can help you in M&A, but I’m curious if anyone has additional thoughts

For anyone who practices tax lit in the US Tax Court, what’s your experience with the independent office of appeals? They don’t seem quite that “independent” to me and so far, I’ve only had one appeals officer who seemed knowledgeable and nice. It’s been a real headache. Interested to hear other people’s experience.
