Making himself at home in my home office!

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

Seconded
Definitely look for used office furniture stores in a nearby major metro area - you can pick up any of the big brands in great condition for sub $500
Y’all got money to blow. It’s not that serious. You can get a nice gaming chair under 100 during prime day. Or less than 200 on a regular day
I hear ya. Nice that you get a subsidy! I do think my cheap chair is pretty solid quality and I also am sensitive to back issues. But hey do what you gotta do!
I really enjoy my autonomous office chair! Best investment I made for my home office! If you look at the website and enjoy it lmk I may be able to give a referral discount or something idk
I have the HM Caper stacking chair and find it pretty comfortable. At some point I’d like to upgrade to the Time Life chair, though.
I think the typical comparison is Herman Miller Aeron vs Steelcase (not sure of the exact model name though). I got a used Aeron and it works pretty well, but I wish I had gotten it fully loaded with all the features. They run used about the same price about $400-500 if I remember correctly
