Any recommendations on a good office chair below $500?

What's the best chair for working long hours? I ve been getting lower back pain recently and am looking for a good, reliable office chair.

Is there a real difference between a $150 and $1,500 office chair? Want to prevent myself herniating my discs but also get something sustainable and built to last.

I’m looking for an ergonomic desk chair for $500ish or less. Currently looking at Steelcase Series 1. Anyone have any thoughts?

Married fish… We both use our at home office frequently and desperately need a new chair…Sometimes my husband will say we spent too much money but then when we desperately need another office chair and I text him a cheap one he says well maybe we should get a nicer one since that we can keep for a couple years and that we actually like. See my confusion here? Does anyone else’s spouse do this?

Design question for my work from home ladies - how did you decorate around a standing desk, large monitors, etc?

I find that with a large monitor there’s not so much I can put on the wall without having the monitor partially cover it - especially when the desk moves.

I don’t mind if the decor is covered when I’m using it standing, but want it to look nice when it’s lower down. Also find that with the monitor/laptop another square on the wall is too much of the same shape - any inspiration?

Alright fellow T&E submitters of the DMV, I’ve been dealing with this back and forth since I started in this region. Where do I submit as my location for T&E? I live in one, work in another, and my home office is in another. I always get a different answer. Is there a policy because I haven’t found it?

I feel really lethargic everyday. It helps if I exercise in the morning to be more active, but sometimes there’s just no time for morning exercise. I’ve been thinking about getting a standing desk to help with this? Any thoughts of this will help? Or something else that might help? Thanks!

Partner and I are considering a move to NYC (been a dream of mine for a decade now and we now both have remote jobs) but definitely intimidated by the rental market. We’d love a two-bedroom or 1-bedroom + home office with dishwasher, W/D, cat-friendly, and possibly elevator. What’s the likelihood of getting that for $3,500/month or less? Recognize we can’t get this in Manhattan, but would we be able to find in western Brooklyn or like Astoria/LIC? Don’t want to be too far from downtown.

First time investor here - I put $25k into an E*TRADE account that I just opened - the goal being to passively invest and grow. Buying a 40% ETF, 25% Cash, 35% Stock (75% Large Cap). I got a call from a guy from E*TRADE asking about my goals, and he mentioned rolling my 401k (currently $150k @ Fidelity) to an IRA managed by E*TRADE. Should I do this?
