Anyone here ever been to RCA? Is it worth it ?
Hi Everybody,
I'm currently working as an outsource in Rapid Metro as Technical Assistant/Civil. I earned a Master degree in Water Resource Engineer after B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Due to Covid 19 I took job back in Civil sector even though I have a masters degree in WRE. It's been almost 6 months of constant applying and rejection and still I'm nowhere close to a job in my dream branch which is the Water sector.Im hopeful that through this portal I may find an entry level position in water

I know we talk about PL job being hard, but it can also be really fun. Hard to find other places where you get the same level of super smart and dedicated ppl working for you. But just my two cents. For me it was much more fun than the C job once I got the hang of it
I’ve definitely thought about it. Had a pretty successful and happy academic career before consulting. I really miss doing science
The part I don’t want to give up is geographic independence. You don’t get a lot of say on where you land a professor job Plus, it’s impossible to predict if you’re going to get stuck in a toxic department for the rest of you’re life
Most law firms are toxic. If I'm working for for-profit clients, I'd rather be here. Better people and more personally interesting work at a similar salary.
Does PL stand for project lead?
I was... before covid. I find consulting too fluffy for my taste
