Got an offer from Intel labs at Bangalore
Grade: G7, Base 37L, PB 4.5L, RSU 35k USD (3 years) , JB- 8L
TC - 55L for two years

Mainly looking for a collaborative environment with growth and WLB. Is it safe to move to Intel now given all the talks about recession and layoffs? Also , does intel provides any yearly refreshers based on performance? Thanks!

Hi Everyone!

A company has made an offer and I wanted to understand if i'm being made a fool.

The monthly compensation is 1,37,500 (16,50,000 yearly) and Variable component (Bonus) is 1,50,000.

However in the offer it says "You shall be paid an annual compensation of Rs. 16,50,000/- per annum Cost to Company."

Which to me sounds like it doesn't consider 1,50,000 to be a part of CTC which is suspicious to me.

How should I deal with this?

By flexible I mean in terms of moving between positions, companies and technologies.

I’m getting my computer science degree, so I would like to do something more technical in the workplace when I graduate. How do I advocate myself for that to my manager without sounding unappreciative of the position I’m in?

Should I specialize in Blockchain or AI? I’m a freshman in a CS degree and I can’t decide. My main argument to choose blockchain is the easy entry with little experience and high salary, I plan on growing my skills during the bear market and get a job once the market recovers. Regarding AI, I find this field fascinating but I feel like it requires a lot of experience, degrees and diplomas.
