I have received offer from Shell and SAP labs is in final stage salary discussion. Shell is offering 6 lacs more than @SAP labs. I have tried to negotiate a lot from SAP but they are not ready. They are putting conditions like give your full commitment to join then only we'll release offer letter. I am currently looking for work life balance with growth. Should I join @SAP considering its a Product based and good WLB and learning? Teck Stack - Java/Micro-services/cloud YOE - 11yrs

sounds like you’re not in a top MBA program, otherwise the path would be pretty clear / easy
it’s a difficult year to get into IB (assuming you’d try to come in as an Associate) without a summer internship. best you can do is try and network with full timers from your MBA program and see if something pops up as their summer intern class declines / more spots open up
Suggest you look at your alumni base to see if there is anyone from your program that has successfully gotten into ib and network with them
You gotta apply for jobs
Wealth management could be a decent Segway into being part of a selling group. Not like being in the syndicate but still party of the IB realm.
Apply to some firms you’re not crazy about to see if you’ll get interest and then strategize from there. Use your alumni base, message people on LinkedIn, and try any other networking tactics. An interesting route you can take is Asset and Wealth Management IB which is has a ton of deal activity right now and your expertise could be useful. Raymond James, Piper Sandler, GS, Berkshire Global Advisors, and Colchester Partners are all major players in that space.
