Any San Francisco hotel recommendations? Wondering if it’s worth splurging on the Palace with my points or if we should stay at a Category 6 instead.

The palace is nice and it's usually not that expensive, the area kind of sucks though. I prefer the St Regis , the Westin is a slightly more convenient area but also next to the tenderloin.

The palace is nice and has Toto toilets. Good central location for tourist activities.

I’ve only staid at the StR and the palace in SF so I don’t have a point of comparisons to the Cat 6.

At Cat 6 there’s a San Francisco Proper. I haven’t staid there but I’ve staid at the Proper in Santa Monica and Austin and they’re very nice. If I was picking a cat 6, I would probably pick there.

I live in SF and the Palace is my go-to for staycations/tourist-ing in my own city. I legit love that hotel

Footage of me currently juggling packing, prepping to move, downsizing, trying to close out old life tasks (off boarding, admin tasks, medical stuff), as well as set up a new lease in another city, onboard, background check, and selling old possessions, etc
*before anyone asks, no, I didnt get enough points to move everything (Biggest option was 2bdrm; I have a 3bedroom 1800sqft place full and a loaded garage) so was forced to downsize and choose the self-move option and just downsize my life* 😊
