What’s the best way for me to have unlimited data/international calling when I travel to the EU this year? I usually just pay the $10/day Verizon charges me if I use my phone but data is capped or it slows down at some point if you go beyond a specific gigabyte.

Get a sim there and get familiar with whatsapp

I have an international hotspot. Not the best but better than the $10/day with a gb allowance that gets used up in no time

SIM cards are super cheap and they’ll give you tons of data, not unlimited but I’ve seen plans for 50+ gb. They usually have roaming for most European countries as well. Just make sure your phone is paid off/unlocked

If you want the convenience of keeping the same SIM card you use in the US, I’d recommend looking into switching to T-Mobile. Their international data plans are quite affordable ($50 of high speed data for 15 GB/30 days), and in my experience works pretty seamlessly.

Does anyone use a brokerage account instead of a checking account? Mine offers a fee free debit/atm card and free checks which I'd rarely use but starting to question whether it is worth maintaining my "big bank" checking account that requires a $1500 minimum balance.

I also have a local credit union checking/savings that I'd use if I need any services or to deposit cash and a HYSA that gets my paycheck, is used for mortgage and credit card payments, and to transfer to checking or investments.

3 years ago I distanced my long term love and chose my ambition to complete an MS and create something for both of us in hopes to get back to her as a grown independent man. I lost her for not being there “enough”. Should I regret it? Should i have chosen Love and regretted not achieving my dreams? (We are 27, we fell in love when we were 15) I was a no one back in the day but now it’s totally different, i am debt free, financially stable and ready to settle down.
