Have an offer in hand in my market of choice, going to ask my firm if they will formally let me transfer to their NYO, and if not, I plan to put my notice in. Have a very long commute right now and I look forward to being able to bike to work! I don’t think this firm I am at will accommodate, but will try nonetheless!

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. And what are the deductions from Base salary apart from PF ?
