Found myself in a conversation with the branch manager (white male pushing thru his late 60's) about holiday decorations. I just told him how I've been directed by corporate to keep the winter holiday decorations as non denominational and he nearly exploded. Starts saying how Christmas is the "American Way" and "nobody is going to take MY Christmas" and "this is MY BRANCH, I will decorate for CHRISTMAS" and so much more. I'm just flabbergasted, frustrated but not surprised.

Today already not in a great headspace, got an email for a junior PM role I wanted after a final interview, saying the role was postponed for a couple months but I was top of the list. Then the SM went on to revoke his initial glowing review of my case study answer that he gave a week ago during the final interview, in depth critiquing the wording of the answer and giving me links to study. The case study was a project plan. I appreciate the feedback but I feel a little defeated.
