I’ve been seeing this a lot more recently and just had to make a thread about it. I refuse to believe that anyone on here has actually been asked to work a 100hr week. People come onto this thread with legitimate questions and concerns and I just see people trying to scare them out of public which inevitably makes it worse for everyone else who sticks around. Even an 80 hour week is debatable and that is the absolute top. Stop trying to be an attention getter. We work, but not 24/7.

How to fake my resume with project which I have not worked?

I’ll be taking on a new client in the new year - a financial personality / influencer with less than 10k followers. One of her goals is to grow her following by 5,000 in Q1. I’m already sharing counsel that such an aggressive growth goal in one quarter isn’t realistic but she’ll still want to see some growth tactics in her plan. What are some good ways to grow an audience for an influencer type account?

Something that severely gets into my nerves:
1 advise clients on tech and sometimes help them debug stuff.
This client told me they tested the solutions I gave and that it didn't work, and requested a meeting to sort it off. We schedule a meeting. I just inspected their account and they haven't tested shit, I can see the same code mistakes, they never tried to change anything.
I'm pissed. They're basically wasting my time and I don't even see the point in meeting with them.
Advice?

This month I have come to facing that reality that I need to leave my current company due to lack of growth within my career path staying in sales and business development. Primarily no opportunity to not relocate to work remote. Not interested in switching to marketing or enablement there. Mental health issues in our profession are finally being recognized. While mental health issues are not unique to lawyers, the profession and it's client service mantra present unique challenges.

Most of my bowls are currently all about lay-offs and long times in between client projects, regardless of industry/function. Am curious if we sustainability folks are feeling it as much as the rest of our businesses? Just got promoted and I am now the ONLY Black female director in my entire firm. Also hearing I might be the first to be promoted to that level. (They’ve hired at least one person at that level maybe 7 years ago but she left.) About 3K people. FYI, I’m not on the client side, I’m part of an enabling function. Anyone in this boat?
