Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

1) In a case of reversed roles a colleague of mine interviewed with another firm. The hiring manager closed the door and with tears in his eyes spent 20 minutes telling the candidate why he didn‘t want to work there. No offer was extended or requested.
2) Some year’s ago I interviewed a new graduate for an entry level role in my office. While I stood at the whiteboard drawing intricate colorful diagrams, charts and equations describing the wonderful leading edge work we did, I became aware of a loud snoring noise behind me. Turning around, I found the candidate blissfully sacked out in the office comfy chair - a bit too comfy as it turned out. He did not got an offer from my group, but I heard later that another team did hire him.
Challenge questions for the FB network: what would you do if a candidate started sawing wood during a 1 on 1 interview with you? There are many interesting options ......
Q: Can you walk me from revenue to net income?
A: Sorry, I don’t have a background in finance and I didn’t study for this

Are you kidding me? I've been getting questions on like section 341 asset sales and other obscure things....
I was interviewing a candidate with a colleague (a wrongly over confident 1st yr associate). I started giving softball questions because of how embarrassed I was over my colleague. He no longer works here
