Dumb question.. what’s the proper etiquette for when you get a job through a recruiter who reached out to you first? A simple thank you email, a Starbucks gift card, etc?

I am product designer with a fair amount of experience (6yrs).

Recently was interviewed for a Sr. role in Booking but unfortunately the team finds me better suited as a core individual contributor.

I am also in the advanced stages of some lead designer positions in other companies.

However I am really interested in joining the team at Booking, especially because of the design culture.

What should be my reasons to accept or not accept the offer from booking?

I’m struggling at the moment to gauge how much I should be getting paid in my position as i feel I’m heavily underpaid for the work I do, which includes managing digital marketing operations across 12+ countries, manage the studio/creatives plus lead on any campaigns and strategies, etc. I’m also remote UK-based although my company is international. I have been talking to a recruiter for a little over a month about a position. I was told to apply to a hospital job by someone interested in interviewing me. The recruiter reached out. Asked for my availability but then didn’t respond when I gave her my availability. I followed up. We scheduled a phone call (she said she’d call) and then she didn’t call! At this point, I’m thinking they’re totally disorganized. Is this common practice?
