The comments are ridiculous. Most of the commenters wouldn’t even get hired at MoloLamken. It’s a top-notch boutique law firm with a lot of very smart people. Oh, and by the way they also pay above market

Sure thing, A4. So long as the rank racism or political in-fighting posts are from biglaw folks, I’ll let em slide.

Know a partner and senior associate in the NY office. They both are pretty chill and happy with their gigs and life in general!
Can confirm. Close friend is at their NY office and quite content.
Prestigious boutique. Above market pay for above market work. You'll work harder with less resources.
Who???
MoFo divested Fo and merged with Latham but scrambled some of the letters to confuse Trump. Brilliant
Heard they’re kinda nuts and run a pretty hardo interview process
I thought this was the Big Law bowl …
By definition a boutique is not Big Law…
There’s absolutely no strict definition of what “Big Law” even is. If you manage to find one in a dictionary, feel free to send it my way. There are plenty of people on this bowl who can offer insights to OP.
LC1, you’re being ridiculous … it’s a convention across industries to refer to only the top players as “Big X” or similar designation. Mag 7 / Big Tech, MBB, Big 4, and for law it’s Big Law, which means mainly the Amlaw 50 and in certain contexts all the way through the Amlaw 200.
In no way do boutique law firms, boutique consultancies or startups fit that bill, even if staffed with former members of the Bigs.
It’s not a slight on the people at boutiques. It’s just a fact that they aren’t in “Big Law”.
Forgot to add Bulge Bracket to the examples above, vs smaller, maybe regional, maybe industry focused ibanks.

My friend left big law for it. Great for lit associates. Likes it a lot
