Light exercise — even just walking 15 minutes a day if you can manage it — is really beneficial. I panicked in the final few weeks of my third trimester and looked up some light stretches and breathing exercises to help with delivery too, and I feel like it helped. Try to eat well and get the nutrients you need — both to take care of yourself in the third trimester and to make a plan for how you’ll nourish yourself postpartum. I found smoothies pretty helpful for doing that. And above all, try to give yourself grace: your body is making a whole new person! That’s amazing! Take care of yourself and your needs but try not to hold yourself to some impossible standard of “bouncing back”

The breathing exercises from Bridget Teyler on YouTube were super helpful for me for managing the pain of early contractions
The book Your Body Is Magic has some other exercises and nutritional information and recipes (a little woo woo but I liked it)

I also had a freezer stash of meals (home cooked and Trader Joes) for postpartum, since we weren’t in a place to cook for ourselves for the first 2 or 3 weeks
